I realise that we don’t have many of our Freshers on the mailing list, but the main purpose of this email is a “Save the date” for those of you who get booked up quickly!
The Freshers’ Tour this year will be on Saturday 18th October.
The plan is to ring at four towers along the Metropolitan Line:
Amersham (12), Rickmansworth (10), Harrow-on-the-Hill (10) TBC and Pinner (8) TBC
We won’t be starting too early and we will catch a Big train from Marylebone to Amersham to start off the day – and the whole tour can be done on an Oyster card.
Lunch will be at a pub in Rickmansworth before ringing there, with a social in the evening at the Metropolitan Bar Wetherspoon’s on Baker Street.
As we are going to a 12 and a couple of 10’s it would be a shame if we didn’t have at least 12 people on the tour to make some decent noise on all the bells – so if you’re available – get it down in your diary now – a reminder will be sent out again shortly when we’ve got an idea of who all the Freshers are.
For now; if people could start to let me know if they will be coming along, that would be helpful.
